What’s in a name?

We are interested to see Elmira’s weekly newspaper today. Tim tipped the editor that a new street sign went up that has our street name misspelled!

street_sign Bristow CreekImagine all of the steps that a sign would need to go through to be ordered, produced and then installed and it is incorrect!! Crazinesss! Bristow is the proper name.

CPR-Defrib training went well yesterday. We had a fantastic teacher. He is a firefighter from TO. Very down to earth and reasonable. It was great training. He’s been a firefighter for at least 20 years. Number of times he has come in to find someone doing CPR on the thousands of calls that they receive where CPR would be needed? Five. FIVE!!!! What a very sad statistic.

I placed an Amazon order on Sunday and it arrived yesterday. Amazing! I have four books for my holidays. 🙂

One of the books (One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp) is being featured on one of the blogs I follow. They are doing a book club sort of thing on it. They are already up to chapter three, so I have some catching up to do. How fun to find out that the author lives down the road from me! Wow! Talk about small world!! Oops – now as I get the link for you, I see that they are up to chapter four!

I’m enjoying my Wednesday morning at home. This is my new routine for the new year. I don’t go to the gym on Wednesday mornings so that I have at least one morning at home to get ready for work and enjoy my fireplace and breakfast that is not in a Tupperware container. 🙂 I am tiring of carrying all of my clothes and food and chaos for the day.

Tonight, I teach spin and I also have the monthly art journal class. I’m in charge of teaching a technique tonight. I guess I’ll teach the first half before my spin class and the second half will be after my spin class. 🙂

Have a great Wednesday all!
